Minerals and precious stones from Namibia have been a familiar sight in collectors' display cases and at international mineral shows for many decades. In the past, renowned deposits such as Tsumeb, Onganja, and Berg Aukas yielded minerals of the highest quality – now sought-after classics. New finds come from the Erongo region, the Kaokoveld, and numerous other smaller deposits scattered throughout the country.
